First Ever Kindle Litfestx Celebrated Power Of ’Virtual’ Over Last 10 Days

Kindle LitfestX, a first of its kind virtual literary festival conceptualized and delivered by knowledge media firm Leapvault, while closing on Day 10 proved the merit in the age old adage, ‘where there’s a will there’s a way’. The festival in its first edition brought to the fore vivid voices from new-age publishing, human rights, new media, theatre, politics, and spirituality to many other walks of life through 90 virtual sessions.

Litfestx besides marking a virtual congregation of sharpest minds from across the world on a digital platform, served to be a perfect melting pot of all that’s relevant and rhetoric in today’s world. The 10-day long literature fest featured thought provoking sessions, book launches and ideas by a notable lineup of authors from across continents representing vivid genres of writing including the likes of Shashi Tharoor, Chetan Bhagat, Kiran Bedi, Ashwin Sanghi, Rajdeep Sardesai, among many other globally renowned authors.

Setting new horizons for virtual book launches, Kindle LitfestX gave a new window of opportunity to the French author, screenplay writer, and actor Olivier Lafont to launch his fantasy novelette ‘Purgatory: The Gun of God’. Also, Rachel Kelly’s inspiring memoir ‘Walking On Sunshine’ that outlines 52 Small Steps to Happiness found a virtual connect with the global reader base in a whole new way.

“LitfestX was purely built out of passion which Leapvault, Amazon and all the participating authors, readers and viewers placed their bets on. Now when I look back, it feels like an incredible feat that we could deliver a total of 90 sessions, one better than the other, launch two books on a world level and bring the literary community closer like never before. And all of this in the last 10 days! It’s an achievement for the entire literature community and also an encouraging juncture for us to come back with LitfestX second edition with much fanfare and furore,” shared Kumaar Bagrodia, CEO, Leapvault.

The festival took place without any boundaries, establishing the power of the digital medium while also bringing out the keenness of the worldwide fraternity of writers, readers and even non-readers to connect, share, inspire and engage with each other. Keeping up with this spirit, the festival doesn’t end here – for all the sessions are recorded and available on www.litfestx.com
